6:30-7:15 pm                 Ted Moskal will talk about “How to become a successful inventor and entrepreneur”

7:15-7:30                       Fellowship and networking

Guest speaker:

Ted Moskal – is a seasoned executive and accomplished entrepreneur.  Since moving to Arkansas in 2003, he has assisted various Arkansas groups in knowledge based job creation.  He founded two Arkansas based biosciences companies: Litmus and Vivione Biosciences, taking Vivione  to  an IPO in 2013 on the Canadian stock exchange.

With the support of a forward thinking family, Ted started his first business at the age of twelve—a landscaping business.  At the same time, his younger brother (ten) started a competing landscaping business.  The two were forced to merge after about a year by their father.  At the time of merger, the two had over a dozen employees and around a 100 customers.

Ted received his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University in 1986.  After college he was recruited into a number of leadership positions within a variety of technology companies.  He moved south in the 1990’s, working for FedEx on aerospace product development and corporate strategy.

Ted strongly believes that with dedication, anyone can be a successful inventor and entrepreneur.  He believes the key is working ½ days—you just need to decide which 12 hours to work out of the 24 available.
